Intro (2X)

Verse 1

Hold me now in the hands that
Created the heavens
Find me now where the grace
Runs as deep as Your scars
You pulled me from the clay
You set me on a rock
Called me by Your Name
And made my heart whole again

Verse 2

Lifted up, And my knees know
It’s all for Your glory
That I might stand with more
reasons
To sing than to fear
You pulled me from the clay
You set me on a rock
Called me by Your Name
And made my heart whole again

Chorus

So here I stand High
In surrender I need You now
Hold my heart
Now and forever my soul
cries out

Refrain

Once I was broken
But You loved my whole heart
through
Sin has no hold on me
Cause Your grace holds me now

Verse 3

And that grace owns the
Ground where the grave did
Where all my shame remains left
For dead in Your wake
You crashed those age-old gates
You left no stone unturned
You stepped out of that grave
And shouldered me all the way

Refrain 2

Healed and forgiven
Look where my chains are now
Death has no hold on me
Cause Your grace holds that
ground

Tag

And Your grace holds me now
Your grace holds me now
Your grace holds me now
Your grace holds me now

Whole Heart (Hold Me Now) - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]

We all have moments in our lives when we feel broken and alone. We can feel like no one understands us or that we are too far gone for God to reach us. But the truth is that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. He is the one who holds us in His hands and sets us on a rock. He is the one who calls us by His name and makes our hearts whole again.

The song “Whole Heart (Hold Me Now)” by Hillsong UNITED reminds us of this truth. The lyrics speak of God’s grace and mercy that is so deep that it runs as deep as His scars. He is the one who lifts us up and gives us more reasons to sing than to fear. He is the one who pulled us from the clay and set us on a rock. He is the one who called us by His name and made our hearts whole again.

The Bible speaks of this same truth. In Isaiah 43:1-2, it says, “But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

God is always with us, even in our darkest moments. He is the one who holds us in His hands and sets us on a rock. He is the one who calls us by His name and makes our hearts whole again. He is the one who heals us and forgives us. He is the one who shoulders us all the way. He is the one who crashes the age-old gates and leaves no stone unturned. He is the one who steps out of the grave and holds us in His grace.

No matter what we are going through, God is always with us.

Let us remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest moments.

Let us give thanks to God for His grace and mercy that is so deep that it runs as deep as His scars. Let us remember that He is always with us, even in our darkest moments. Let us trust in Him and His love for us.

Amen.
