Intro
Verse 1
Where I'm still in
Your presence
All the noise dies down
Lord speak to me now
You have all my attention
I will linger and listen
I can't miss a thing
Pre-Chorus
Wants more of You
My heart wants something new
So I surrender all
Chorus
Is to live within Your love
Be undone by who You are
My desire is to know
You deeper
Lord, I will open up again
Throw my fears into the wind
I am desperate for a
Touch of heaven

The breath in my soul
Or the life in my bones
There is no hesitation
In Your love and affection
It's the sweetest of all

So do what only You can
Jesus, have Your way in me now

Touch Of Heaven - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]
We all long for a touch of heaven in our lives. We want to feel the presence of God and to be surrounded by His love. The song “Touch of Heaven” by Hillsong Worship speaks to this longing.
The lyrics of the song remind us that God is always with us, even in the moments when we feel like He is far away. He is the fire in the morning and the cool in the evening. He is the breath in our souls and the life in our bones.
The Bible tells us that God is always with us and that He will never leave us. Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
The song also speaks to our need to surrender to God and to open our hearts to Him. We must be willing to let go of our fears and to trust in His love and grace. Psalm 37:4-5 says, “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this.”
We can trust that God will meet us in our longing for a touch of heaven. He will fill us with His love and grace and will never leave us. We can open our hearts to Him and trust that He will do what only He can do.
