What A Saviour - In the Bible [Verses & Devotional]
What a Saviour! We have a Redeemer, a Friend of sinners, one like us. He has shown us kindness and suffered violence, healing our blindness and setting us free. What grace we have found in Jesus! Our souls can entertain His greatness, and if this life holds nothing but our Saviour, we will praise Him always.
Heaven's glory was clothed in mercy, and Jesus knew our story yet took our end. We have been given freedom and hope like heaven, and now we are forgiven and will rise again.
If this life we live holds nothing but the cross, where Jesus took our shame, then with arms stretched wide and our hands held high, our every breath will sing again.
Let us praise Him always!
Bible Verses:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39
