Just One Touch

We are blessed to have a God who loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins and to free us from the bondage of sin and death. In the song “Just One Touch” by Planetshakers, we are reminded of the power of Jesus’ touch and how it can free us from our burdens and heal us from our sickness and disease. 

The Bible tells us in Isaiah 53:5 that “by His stripes we are healed”. Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and it was through His death that we are healed and made whole. We can be sure that when we come to Him in faith, He will touch us with His healing power and free us from our burdens. 

The chorus of the song says “Hal-le-lu-jah, You said it’s done, death is overcome. Hal-le-lu-jah, You washed me clean and now I’m free.” This is a powerful reminder of the power of Jesus’ touch and how it can free us from our sins and make us clean and whole. 

The bridge of the song says “With just one touch, every burden fell off my shoulders. With just one touch, every mountain swept away. Now goodbye guilt and shame, He’s overcome the grave. We lift the name of Jesus higher.” This is a beautiful reminder of the power of Jesus’ touch and how it can free us from our guilt and shame and give us hope for a better future. 

We can be sure that when we come to Jesus in faith, He will touch us with His healing power and free us from our burdens. We can trust in His promises and know that He will never leave us or forsake us. Let us lift the name of Jesus higher and give Him all the glory and praise.
